Freelance Writers Create Success with High Tech Clients

Like the contestants on TV s \"Beauty and the Geek,\" I too have found a lot to love about working with technology clients. Every technology company needs marketing communication and public relations services, and freelance writers who can handle technical material will remain in demand. High-tech marketing projects are often intellectually challenging and require strong writing skills. Technology continually offers new subjects to learn and the opportunity to build expertise that attracts loyal, long-term clients. And, you may never hear higher praise for your work than from an engineer whose barely coherent draft you have transformed into polished prose. Can You Talk Tech? Serving technology clients takes a commitment to working largely--even exclusively--in this field. In most types of technology, the subject matter is increasingly complex and it changes rapidly. You won t impress a prospective technology client by saying, \"I m a quick learner.\" Instead, you will need a level of technical knowledge sufficient to build a good rapport and work productively with subject experts. To develop this technical depth, focus on a particular technology area and seek out the relevant Web sites, trade publications, dictionaries, and other resources. After you have developed knowledge and experience in one technology, you can often extend it to others. For example, my primary focus is telecommunications and most of my clients have been equipment vendors or phone companies. But this focus opened the door at a semiconductor manufacturer that sells the chips used in network equipment. It also got me into a major computer systems company, and once I started writing about systems sales, I became the right writer for a medical systems company. Breaking Into the High-Tech Market Successfully marketing your services to technology companies requires consistent and persistent targeting. Target your services. Instead of being an \"I do it all\" writer, increase your credibility with potential clients by offering targeted services for specific project types, media, or technology areas. Target your clients. Look for prospects in both high-tech companies and agencies with a technology practice. Former clients and colleagues may show up in your future at another company, so make sure your relationships are positive. Target your self-promotion. Use successful completion of one project to sell the client on another: \"Now that we have written this product brochure together, what about white paper?\" Look for add-on projects for the same product or with other marketing staff in the company. A Match for Success Writing for technology companies won t necessarily give you the kinds of projects that other writers will envy. But by matching your writing skills to an engineer s need to communicate clearly, you can find many opportunities for building and sustaining a successful freelance business. And I promise, you too may come to love (or at least enjoy) working with geeks. Copyright(c)2006, Janice M. King. All rights reserved; used by permission. Oklahoma Schools Working For Recognition

All schools across America strive for excellence, which is reflected through various regional, state, or national awards. Being recognized as an excellent place of learning can help schools in numerous ways. Some awards give the recipients a cash bonus, while others give an endorsement of excellence. Oklahoma City Public Schools are no exception. Recognized for numerous, innovative programs, and admirable improvement, Oklahoma Schools enjoy a high status within the 50 states. Improved in reading and math, advances in technology, and being named a Blue Ribbon School are all examples of these recognitions. One of the highest national honors an Oklahoma School (or any other school in the nation, for that matter), can receive is being named a Blue Ribbon School. The Blue Ribbon honors schools that have closed achievement gaps and where students are excelling at high levels. For the 2006 â€" 2007 school year, several Oklahoma Schools have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. More than 50 schools in the state have been honored since this program began in 1982. Six Oklahoma Schools were honored for the school year. Four elementary schools and two middle schools received the honor. The number of K-12 schools, public or private, that each state can nominate depends on that state’s population. 60 percent of schools nominated each year for the Blue Ribbon status are recognized by the federal government. All six of the nominated Oklahoma Schools won the recognition. These Oklahoma Schools are recognized because they have met criteria in two areas. These requirements are: improvements made by low-income students, and schools that have scored in the top 10% on the state’s standardized tests. Advances in technology have been made in Oklahoma Schools. More than 200,000 computers are available for students’ use, at a rate of one computer for every three students. Ninety-nine percent of Oklahoma Schools classrooms have internet access. A majority of this progress in technology comes from the federal E-Rate program, local bond issues and grants, and upgrades for schools and libraries in high poverty areas. Oklahoma Schools not only added technology to the classrooms, but have also integrated standards defining basic skills of technology into its core curriculum for Pre-K through 12th grade, known as the Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS). Students must learn the operation of a computer, application of software as a tool, problem-solving skills, telecommunications skills and ethical and legal issues in using technology. Oklahoma Schools have shown improved performance in reading and math at all levels between 2002 and 2006. Achievement gaps between different ethnic groups have narrowed between 2002 and 2006 in reading at all grade levels tested. The biggest improvements were seen in elementary math, but reading scores have also increased. In the Technology Counts 2007 report released March 29, Oklahoma Schools earned an overall B- compared to the national average of a C . The state’s schools scored an A- in the use of technology for student standards, establishing a virtual school and offering computer-based testing. Oklahoma Schools, as well as the other schools throughout the nation were surveyed to measure the status of K-12 educational technology; developments over the past ten years are also considered. A Look At The History Of Notebook Computers

A notebook computer is a term used interchangeably with laptop computers. For those of you not familiar, a notebook computer is one that is smaller and lighter than a personal computer. You can take it with you anywhere so it offers you more access to the internet, a way to watch movies, and even a way to work while you are away on business trips. The first notebook computer was introduced in 1981 but they were very expensive and not as versatile as they are today. IBM and Epsom both placed versions of portable laptops on the market in 1983. Even with more models emerging, notebook computers were an item often associated only with high profile businessmen. It wasn t until 1995 when Microsoft introduced their operating system Windows 95 that the world of notebook computers exploded. This operating system along with advances in technology that allowed notebook computers to function in the same ways as a personal computer led to them dropping in price and more consumers buying them. Some of the improvements that occurred around this time were a better battery that no longer included acid. Power saving notebook computers were introduced so the life of the battery lasted much longer. They also were now able to hold more data so they could be used for more concepts at any given time. Today you see people of all ages carrying their notebook computers to the office, home, on airplanes, colleges, and hotels. Many public places are set up with areas for individuals to conveniently use their laptops. Since we live in such a computer age having a notebook computer can help you stay on top of things for work and pleasure no matter where you go. You can find notebook computers in a variety of sizes and from multiple manufacturers. They come with a good price, plenty of storage capacity, and warranties. If you are in the market for a notebook computer you will have no trouble finding exactly what you are looking for. Learn all about Choosing A Notebook Computer . Setting Up Your PC for Dual-monitors: It s Easier Than You Think

Setting Up Your PC for Dual-monitors: It s Easier Than You Think The traditional view of a \"PC\" If you ask just about anybody what their idea of a \"PC system\" is they will probably list a tower, a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor. While it is true that these are the essential elements of using a personal computer, it is becoming more and more popular to use an alternative setup. Sometimes two is better than one It is becoming increasingly more common to see people using two towers with one keyboard, video and monitor. This is accomplished through the use of a KVM switch - as you probably already guessed, KVM standard for keyboard-video-mouse. This is great for people who need more computing power than they can get with one machine. A good example of this would be in a graphic design environment where you are consuming a high percentage of your available RAM and CPU power to run heavy editing applications. Sometimes you need more room to be productive For some people computing power is not a huge issue, but they could use more desktop space: enter the dual-screen setup. This allows you to have two monitors that essentially share your desktop. You can drag items from one monitor to another and if you have a long window you want to view, you can sprawl it out across both monitors. This is great when you need to use another screen as a reference or you want a static window that you can always check (with stock symbols, sales figures, etc.). It s not that hard to do A lot of people see dual-screen setups and they think that it s hard to do - it s really not. First of all you need a dual-monitor video card . Do not try to use two single-port video cards - you will probably have IRQ conflicts that will keep you from using both at the same time - special software is bundled with all dual-port video cards that allows both ports to peacefully co-exist. DVI vs. VGA For some reason most dual-port video cards have one VGA port and one DVI port. I am not saying that dual-port VGA or dual-port DVI cards don t exist, but I have never seen one. This can be kind of a pain because you might have two VGA monitors or two DVI monitors. Don t worry - there is a solution. You can easily find a DVI-to-VGA adapter or a VGA-to-DVI adapter from just about anyone who sells you a video card. Be aware that if you have two DVI monitors that your DVI signal will be downgraded to analog, but the quality loss is almost unnoticable unless you have a huge monitor. Also, using a VGA-to-DVI adapter will not upscale your signal to a digital signal - it will pass an analog signal through the DVI port. You will need to install included software Regardless of where you buy the card from there will be some software that you will have to install to get your new setup to work. As I mentioned earlier, this will resolve any IRQ conflicts that would otherwise arise and give you some cool options for your desktop such as specifying which monitor should be the right-side of the desktop and which should be the left. Be sure to uninstall your old card first Whether you choose to use an AGP video card or PCI, you should definitely remove your existing video card first (and disable any software related to the old monitor). This will remove the possibility of a driver conflict and make you and the computer much happier in the long-run. Alarm System: Smoke and Heat Detectors

Smoke and Heat Detectors- Smoke detectors are available that will interface with your security system. The smoke detectors that are already in your home can’t be tied into your security system. The device that the builder put in your home is either electrical, battery operated, or in some instances both, if you have the better quality detectors. Lifesaving smoke detectors should be in every home. If you elect to add some to your system, your existing detectors should be left in place, as they are still able to help give early warning in case of a fire. If you add a smoke detector to your system it should be placed in the highest point of your home as possible, as smoke will rise no matter where it originates. Some homeowners elect to place one in the basement and top floor, and some want one added to every floor. The technology that makes most of these devices work is “photoelectric technology.” This means that the detector basically takes a snapshot of the density of smoke that enters its chamber, and wants to see a density increase as it samples every few milliseconds. This technology makes the detector much more discriminating then its inexpensive counterparts. Many of these devices also detect temperature change with their built in heat detectors. This means that the device will go into an alarm condition, if the temperature in its area of coverage is rising rapidly, even if there is no smoke yet. Independent heat detectors are also available, if you would like an added degree of protection in areas such as kitchens, furnace rooms, attics and fireplaces. (Required to meet code, in some municipalities) There are many advantages to adding fire devices to your security system. Some of them are: * Your detector is on all the time, even if your alarm is disarmed. * The devices work off the power from your alarm system and use its backup power supplies should power fail. * The siren will emit a tone that is audibly different then a burglary siren, so that you can differentiate. * Your dispatch is being made without you having to call for help yourself. This gives you more time to gather your loved ones and pets for immediate exit. * A dispatch will take place even if you are not home. Typically flames will be coming through your roof, by the time your neighbors see them, and call for help. This early response may save your pets and a good portion of your home. * Insurance companies often give an additional discount, off your homeowners insurance, for having a fire system. These devices could effectively pay for themselves, after a few years. (INSIDE SCOOP!) Some municipalities will not dispatch their limited resources to an automatic fire alarm, unless it is designed completely to local code. This is a very expensive endeavor that, many homeowners in those areas can’t justify. Businesses will have to do this, in order to get an occupancy permit. Check with your local fire authority before investing in smoke or heat detectors that will not get a response. Canon Digital Camera - from Humble Beginnings to World Class Company

Started in a single-room by three Japanese men in the year 1933 under the name of Precision Optical Instruments Laboratory, Canon has come a long way today. It all began with the phantom prototype camera called the ‘Kwanon’. At that time, Germany was considered to be the leader in camera production. German cameras were extremely expensive. So, Goro Yoshida, along with two others tried to produce a 35mm rangefinder camera at a cheaper price and came up with “Kwanon’. However, at that time, one of the problems faced by the company was that it did not have a lens of its own. So, it decided to tie up with Nippon Kogaku Kogyo (who was to become the founder of Nikon) and acquire lenses from them. With the use of these lenses, Canon came up with its first commercial camera called the “Hansa Canon” in 1936 which became a hit. However, the company still had to go through hardships due to the War. After the war, the company officially adopted the name “Canon” as its name. Up till then, the lens was under a different name, the camera had a different name and the company had a different name. So, in order to unify all these three, Canon came into existence on September 15, 1947. Slowly the company started to expand, and many historical cameras were created such as the Serenar 50mm f/1.8 lens in 1951, Canonet in 1961, AF35M (Autoboy) in 1979 and the EOS 650 in 1987. The first Canon digital camera was the PowerShot 600 in 1996. Then, after making several advances in digital technology, Canon launched the EOS D2000 digital SLR camera in 1998 for professionals. In addition, the XL1 digital video camera was introduced. Due to its superior functionality and reliability, the XL1 became the official digital video camcorder of the NASA. In order to provide the market with a cost effective camera along with superior functionality and performance, Canon introduced the EOS D60 in 2002 and the EOS 10D in 2003. These two cameras made Canon the market leader in digital technology. Then, the EOS Kiss Digital was introduced in 2003, which became a big success. Today, Canon has introduced several digital camcorders. Starting with the FV30 and the FV200KIT in 2002, Canon went onto launch the FV M1 and the IXY DV M2 in 2003 in the mid range segment. As the company progresses, Canon continue to strive to provide its consumers with better and better technology at the lowest price possible. They have been known as a choice of the pros for many years in the world of photography but now with a broad line of products Canon is firmly positioned in the consumer market as well. Data Recovery 101

Almost all computer users have experienced this at least once â€" the need to get back a deleted /lost data file. This could happen as a result of a software failure, hardware failure, human error, power related problems, damage caused by flood / water, vandalism, virus damage, damage by fire / heat / smoke and sabotage. Whatever the cause and reason that you need data recovery there is no reason to panic, for help is at hand. The need and urgency to recover data has resulted in a plethora of data recovery software to rescue you from a crisis like situation. Unless the hard disk is not working normally, the need for professional service is almost rendered unnecessary. If the hard disk is not making any weird noise like scratching, scraping or ticking (which means it is in good condition) data recovery can be done with the use of proper data recovery software, without the help of any technical personnel. The data recovery software that is available can be used for Mac, NT/2000/XP and RAID data recovery. The data recovery software is also FAT and MFT compliant. Hard drive data recovery is possible from small hard drives of 2 GBs to big hard drives of 120 GBs. Hard drive data recovery requires the presence of technicians if there is a hard drive crash. Data recovery software used for NT data recovery provides recovery of deleted files from the recycle bin, partition recovery from deleted partition or formatted logical drives, from lost folders and performs data recovery even if MFT is severely corrupted. NT data recovery software also recovers emails and all forms of files. Mac data recovery software recovers HFS and HFS File System Data. Mac data recovery software also recovers partition if partitions are deleted or formatted, files from Lost or Missing Mac folders. Mac data recovery software recognizes and preserves long file names when recovering Mac files and folders as well as provides full support for IDE, EIDE, SCSI and SATA drives. ‘Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks’ or RAIDS offers better data recovery chances as long as the drives are cloned. RAID is a collection of hard disks that act as a single better hard disk than the individual ones. The hard disks of RAID operate independent of each other. A single drive failure is absorbed by RAID and does not result in loss of data. However, when RAID fails, it fails big time and then RAID data recovery software is used to retrieve data. Raid data recovery software recovers both RAID software and hardware. Natalie Aranda writes about Internet , information technology and computers. Military Robots

Military robots are remote-controlled devices designed for military applications. Military robots work on military robotics such as AGV, UGV, TMR, MOUNT, RECON, Intruder, Ranger, and FCS. There are also many other systems that are being researched by the United States. Military robots provide alternatives for dangerous tasks that soldiers perform in the line of duty. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are among the remarkable success stories of military robots. They can take surveillance photographs and accurately launch missiles at ground targets without a pilot. Military unmanned systems include a wide range of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), and unmanned combat air vehicles (UCAVs), which are designed to carry out various military missions. All these UVs are usually teleoperated. Military robots are also used as mine sweepers and bomb disposers on ground. Military robots come in different shapes and sizes according to their military purpose. A military robot contains of a program that includes the route and other required conditions of the mission. These robots use GPS and simple control algorithms for programming. They automatically follow a pre-programmed route and alert a person when it detects movements or other programmed conditions. The robot works according to the instructions given by the operator. Military robots also contain a camera for providing a view of an emergency. These robots are frequently used to defuse mines and \"improvised explosive devices.\" Military robots also scan barcodes of stored inventory as they pass on their route and report any missing items. The system also includes video screens, force sensors, and special grippers for detection. Bundeswehr, Predator, and Teodor are some popular military robots. The Robotics Research Corporation is working on many research projects. Researchers claim that military robots are for the betterment of mankind, and the mission is to bring intelligent machines into society. The United States armed forces used robots in the frontlines of Iraq War. Robots provides detailed information on Robots, Robots Air Travel Finder, Industrial Robots, Used Robots and more. The Best Available Photo Rejuvenation Technology and Laser Skin Rejuvenation

The LimeLight is a fantastic system for photo rejuvenation. Photo rejuvenation is an effective procedure in treating any red and brown discolorations in the skin. Red discolorations may take the form of rosacea/diffused redness and facial telangiectasia. Brown discolorations include sun spots, age spots, hyperpigmentation, and melasma. These types of skin conditions are often brought upon by sun exposure or sun damage, trauma to the skin, excessive heat or cold, genetics, aging etc. Photo rejuvenation also helps to prevent aging by stimulating the skin to rejuvenate and regenerate itself leaving the skin vibrant and smooth. A 1064nm laser (Nd Yag) is used to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin at the micro-vascular level. It is a non-ablative procedure for treating enlarged pores, scarring (improving texture and tone), fine lines, and diffused redness. Laser genesis is considered the most important discovery in skin rejuvenation since photo rejuvenation. Unlike photo rejuvenation, laser genesis builds heat in the dermal papillary layer of the skin. This heat then stimulates the collagen and elastin to re-model and re-build, evening out the skin tone and smoothing out the skin. It is important to mention that not all Nd Yag laser systems are equal. One of the only true Nd Yag systems for skin rejuvenation available is the Laser Genesis system which is specifically designed and approved for laser skin rejuvenation. Both of these procedures are very useful and very accurate in the process of rejuvenating your health, age and beauty through the use of cosmetic surgery, or laser surgery. Laser Hair Removal

Protect Your iPhone

Surely, when Apple formally introduced iPhone into the world at the end of June, many came up lining, wanting to be one of the firsts to get hold of the revolutionary cell phone called the iPhone. However, it came as it is: naked. Apple has also created some accessories that people can purchase and enjoy together with iPhone. But if you were to shed a few dollars off your pocket, then you better buy one that will make your newly acquired phone long lasting: iPhone case. Because iPhone now uses the touch screen technology, there’s hardly any room for scratches. Yet it doesn’t necessarily mean that it should remain unprotected from harm and that it still is possible to get dings and scratches. There are about three types of iPhone cases sold today. One of them is iPhone skins. Skin usually refers to the cover that will cover the phone entirely. You can access the navigation and side buttons, screen, camera, and charger through its cutouts. Skins are flexible but rugged, thanks to a perfect blend of silicon and plastic. What’s good about skin is that they can completely protect the surface of your phone. However, if your skin is mainly made up of silicone, then it can’t offer you so much just in case you accidentally drop the iPhone. The iPhone skins spells variety, you can buy them in different colors, even with some added accessories like neck straps and screen protector. A tiny piece of silicone that protects an iPhone’s front side is called a screen protector. It also possesses a circular cutout that allows you to utilize the primary navigation button, found at the bottom portion of the iPhone. You can then put a skin on top of the screen protector. However, if you want to get a good deal on screen protector, go for those that can resist dust and contain anti-glare properties. Or you can simply opt to buy an iPhone skin with a screen protector. Lastly, there are what you call as iPhone cases and wallets. These are covers that you can attach on your jeans or on your wallets. You can place your iPhone inside them. The main difference between cell phone holsters and cases is that the latter can protect your phone even if it’s not in use. Leather is a typical material used for cases and wallets. And since they come in different styles, you can simply choose what fits your personality. Think of an iPhone case as a worthwhile investment. Michael is a writer for Everything iPhone where he covers the daily iPhone news surrounding the Apple iPhone. He enjoys reviewing iPhone cases and you can often find him reading the latest iPhone books to brush up on his iPhone expertise.

How To Put Videos On PSP In 4 Simple Steps

Sony’s little wonder machine is a real jack of all trades in the electronic entertainment field-there really isn’t too much that it can’t do but I’ve noticed that out of all my friends that have PSP’s, not one person uses it for movies! It’s not as hard as people seem to think so hopefully once you’ve read this article you’ll know how to put videos on PSP, and I can get my friends to look at this article instead of asking me questions all the time! The first thing that stops most people from finding out how to put videos on PSP is they don’t have enough free memory-You are going to need to buy as big a memory stick as you can afford-512mb is going to be the bare minimum here. SAP Business One Ecommerce Integration Highlights

In this small article we would like to give you SAP Business One SDK integration options, if you already own and operate e-commerce business. Legacy ecommerce website might be substantial historical investment and the idea to slash it and re-implement SAP Business One ecommerce module might be theoretically logical, but very expensive step, which will undermine your legacy ecommerce investment,, at least large portion of it. You can stay in SAP B1 realm and deploy different tool â€" SAP Business One SDK â€" you will need SAP BO technical consultant or programmer to code your plan • Connector approach. Yes, this good old-days approach is still feasible. Try to design the connector â€" you ecommerce should send data into staging table, from where connector should pick data and mark it as processed/integrated or delete. • Integration Simplicity. Try to make it really primitive and very simple â€" in this case SAP BO SDK programming should be very light, quick and simple and will not require tons of SAP B1 SDK programming experience • Sales Orders. SAP B1 architecture suggests you use Sales Order, rather than invoice as integration object. We discourage you to integrate on invoice level, because invoice should be “added” or in accounting terms “posted”. In ERP you probably would like your operator to review customer orders, prior to be posted • Programming Language. C# and VB.Net â€" this is very good news for you â€" these programmers are available on the job market, plus a lot of consulting companies practice these services. Tool of choice is Microsoft Visual Studio (.Net) • SAP B1 Ecommerce module. We recommend you to review this module seriously and if you can afford to re-deploy your ecommerce website â€" this might be another good option, which should work in long term, assuming that you have enough time and resource for redesign If you need help with ecommerce integration programming, please give us a call: 1-866-528-0577, 1-630-961-5918, help@albaspectrum.com , skype: albaspectrum Andrew Karasev, Alba Spectrum Group, serving SAP Business One from our offices in Chicago and Houston, in Brazil from our office in Sao Paulo, and centralized call center and software development factory in Manila, Philippines: albaspectrum.com enterlogix.com.br

Personal Technology and Crime Fighting with GPS

Many believe a crimeless society is in our civilizations near future for many reason. These folks make an excellent point indeed and it makes sense, as technology has been a very great way to stop crime. Personal Tech Devices as seen at the Las Vegas 2006 Consumer Electronic Show seem to be moving towards a realm where they will curb crime. And although this is far from the theme of this years show we have already seen crime is going to be curbed by video cell phones and digital camera phones. Low tech crime fighting also makes a lot of sense such as the Presidents Initiative on Neighborhood Watch Programs or the undercover work from local police departments. Here is a relative simply plan I personally came up with that works well; lancewinslow.org/nmwp.shtml Presently we see things such as the 3G Cell phone tracking to catch criminals who abduct children as well. And we have capabilities today; right now in the present period of Cell Phone Tracking, where cell towers can triangulate position. This can help GPS a distressed motorist or a car buried in an avalanche. These technology tracking triangulation strategies can also be done thru satellites too, or better yet a combination of satellites and Cell Tower EM signature plumes. As long as the phone has a battery in it or an internal battery to hold “speed dial numbers” etc. then you can be tracked by that. There are new companies with RFID Implants for help keeping kids safe and finding lost dogs. And some who frequent certain “trendy” bars in Europe have been chip implanted so that you can go in as a regular without waiting in line? Sounds nuts, but people do this now, today. Many have suggested tacking Child Molesters this way and know when they are sitting in front of a schoolyard or park so that authorities can prevent abductions. We will see more of these things in the future and be able to help curb crime, although some citizens maybe very upset with the violation of privacy. We shall see more debate on this in 2006. \"Lance Winslow\" - Online Think Tank forum board. If you have innovative thoughts and unique perspectives, come think with Lance; WorldThinkTank.net/ . Dell Inspiron 600m Notebook Computer

After twelve years of owning desktop computers, I finally opted for a laptop so I would no longer be chained to my desk. After months of research and weighing various makes and models, I settled on the Dell Inspiron 600m Notebook Computer. This particular model has exceeded all of my expectations and at a price that is hundreds of dollars lower than many competing brands. For several months I agonized over my next computer purchase. I knew I needed to be more mobile and only a notebook computer would permit me to take my \"show on the road.\" Still, the decision making process was not easy as the number of different makes and models out there is mind boggling. Ultimately, I settled on a Dell in part because of previous good experience with the company as well as affordability of their product line. The model I chose was the Inspiron 600m. As with almost everything that Dell builds, it is a \"new\" model; at least the 600m designation is. That is one of the confusing things about Dell and some other manufacturers: every month Dell introduces new models and you need a scorecard to compare one model with all the others. Fortunately, Dell s website allows you to do just that. Key features of the Inspiron 600m include: Lightweight: Just over five pounds. Mobile Centrino Technology is standard. 14.1 inch screen Pentium M 725 Processor 24X CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive 256MB DDR SDRAM 1 Dimm Memory Wireless Network Card Extended Battery Microsoft Windows XP Home Addition WordPerfect Productivity Pack I kept my computer fairly basic but I did opt for the latest version of Norton Security, a surge protected cable, a wirless router, and a wireless mouse. I selected the wireless mouse as I thought the keyboard s mouse would be difficult to use. After two days I quit using the wireless mouse as I quickly got used to the built in one. The screen is bright and the keyboard is solid. The mouse keys, however are noisy, almost clunky; you wonder if Dell could have used a quieter spring for each key. The battery lasts at least four hours without recharging and when I do need to recharge I can go from nearly dead to fully charged in less than one hour. For the price -- I paid just over $1100. for everything including shipping and local taxes -- the Dell cannot be beat. I haven t had to call customer service yet, so I cannot comment on that although in years past your call would be routed to a technician in India. This model comes with a standard one year limited warranty; I avoided a later sales pitch over the phone to get a three year warranty. Their top of the line warranty sends a technician to your house to fix your computer, so it can be option for those of you who do not want to ship -- and thereby lose the use of -- your computer back to Dell for repairs. You will find the Inspiron 600m to be adequate for standard business work. Check out their myriad of other models if you do plenty of graphic design or if you need a larger screen. I am happy with the 14.1 screen, but you may prefer their 17\" model. Buy Computer Flat Screen Monitor

Usually when people buy a computer they forget all about the quality and performance of the Monitor, they just think “I’ll get that one” ,usually the monitor looks good and people do not realize that the Monitor they may be getting is not so good. Flat Screen Monitors have taken over nearly every ones homes, like Flat Screen TVs they are practically in every home now. They look better; they usually perform better depending on which one you get. When buying a monitor you need to think about the refresh rate, the resolution it is capable of and the size of the Monitor. A Flat Screen Monitor is usually in every home because it looks better, it saves a lot of space with it being so small and flat, it had a better display than CTR Monitors because the Flat Screen stops light hitting it so much making it easier to view. Resolutions depend on 2 things, one the Monitor, and two the Graphics card, if you have a good Monitor and a good Graphics Card then your resolution will be far better than say a cheaper Monitor and Graphics Card. Although flat screen monitors are more expensive than CTR the quality and space saving aspect of them more than justify there price tag, for example a CTR monitor may weight more and be difficult to move around, not to mention the fact that it takes up a huge amount of desk space, Flat Panel monitors are light so you can reposition them very easily in your office space and they also take up less desk space which means you can add additional computer peripherals into that space. If you re looking to Buy a new Flat Panel Monitor then check out our Buy Computer Flat Screen Monitor page.

Enjoy 20-20 Vision With Lasik Wavefront

Everyone has more than likely heard of Lasik, the vision correction surgery that doesn t involve typical surgical tools and settings. This form of eye surgery has been around a while, and since its inception, fewer people are willing to wear glasses or contact lenses, while opting for the laser surgery that corrects various vision problems such as myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. Since its beginnings, Lasik has undergone several advancements and changes, both in equipment, technology and styles of surgery that can now be performed. The most common types of eye surgery these days are known as Lasik, IntraLase and Custom Lasik, also known as Lasik Wavefront. Lasik using Wavefront technology allows the laser to be customized using three-dimensional measurements taken of each individual patient s eye processing capabilities to guide the laser in reshaping the cornea, or the front of the eye. This method produces extremely precise results, and since it is individualized, optimal results are produced. This type of eye surgery however, is based on the thickness of your cornea and some are not good candidates for this type of laser vision correction. This method is also best used on those with only mild to moderate degrees of vision defects with the aforementioned myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. The design behind the Wavefront technology is that it offers the laser to measure the way your eye focuses on light rays that pass through the cornea and iris. As a result, a map of sorts is designed and the results recorded in the database of the laser, mapping the way your eye has processed various images. Many people find it difficult to convince their vision insurance companies to cover the costs of Lasik Wavefront vision correction, because conditions such as astigmatism and far and near-sightedness can be treated with the more common use of prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses. However, if your condition is moderate to severe, or if your eyes are irregular in other ways, Lasik Wavefront may be the only way to correct such vision problems and enable the continued lifestyle desired by the patient. Wavefront technology not only adjusts how much a patient is able to see, but it also improves depth perception and visual acuity, including contrast sensitivity as well as fine details. While eyeglasses can help, Lasik is by far the most advanced method of surgery that provides optimal results, time after time, and since it is customized, each patient has the potential to benefit from the very best in surgical performance. Lasik Wavefront can, in general, improve vision to at least 20/20, as well as increase chances of attaining even better than 20/20 vision. The non-invasive surgery also decreases risks of loss of current vision status as well as enhancing visual quality, sensitivity and night-vision. If you are considering this form of vision correction for either new or long-standing vision problems, visit your ophthalmologist and discuss the options that may be open to you. As one of the safest methods of performing eye surgery, Lasik offers a variety of methods of each individual case. Is Lasik Wavefront the right solution for you? Find out more at LasikRevealed.com .

Satellite TV vs. Cable TV -- Which is Best?

Satellite TV vs. Cable TV -- Which is Best? The move is on. Last year millions of Americans switched from cable TV to satellite TV. Why? When you compare satellite TV to cable TV you ll discover the main reasons are cost, picture quality, program choices, and customer satisfaction. Let s check out the differences ... Cable vs. Satellite TV Fees Cable TV fees across the country average $39.99 per month. In our area the cost for cable TV is $37.30 a month for 64 channels, plus $10.95 a month to add digital channels. Installation in one room is $39.95, plus $9.95 for each additional room. Satellite TV fees from Dish Network are $31.99 per month for 60 channels, while DirecTV charges $41.99 per month for 115 channels. Both satellite TV providers currently offer free satellite TV equipment and free installation in up to four rooms. Cable vs. Satellite TV Programming Cable TV in most areas offers almost as many channels as satellite TV, and is broadcast in analog (over-the-air) format. If you want to have digital picture and sound you ll have to pay an additional fee, usually $10 to $15 a month. Satellite TV offers more channels than cable TV (more than 250 channels), and more HDTV (high definition TV) programming. All satellite TV channels are broadcast in digital format for the highest quality picture and sound. Cable vs. Satellite TV Equipment With cable you only need cable boxes that connect the incoming cable line to your televisions. There is usually no charge or rental fees for cable boxes, however, If you want a digital video recorder, you ll have to pay an extra fee. With satellite TV you need a satellite TV dish and TV receivers. Both Dish Network and DirecTV offer that equipment, plus installation, for free. Dish Network will give you a DVR (digital video recording) receiver or an HDTV receiver at no charge, while DirecTV charges $49.99 for DVR receivers and $299 for HDTV receivers. Cable and Satellite TV Reliability and Customer Satisfaction Cable TV outages average 3% to 5% per year. J.D. Powers and Associates ranks cable companies as good to poor in customer satisfaction. Satellite TV outages average about 1%. J.D. Power and Associates has ranked the two satellite TV providers -- Dish Network and DirecTV -- higher in customer satisfaction than any of the cable TV companies for the last five years The Bottom Line If you only watch a couple of shows a week, and you live in an area where you can t get over-the-air TV and cable TV costs less than $20 per month, then cable may be your best option. If, on the other hand, you want the biggest variety of shows, movies, sports, and news for the least amount of money ... you want to watch your all your shows in digital video and sound ... and you want the option of watching them in HD format and recording them on a DVR receiver, then satellite TV is what you re looking for. Which is better? EDTV vs HDTV

Which is better? EDTV vs HDTV With all the new digital formats out there, it is of little surprise that there exists considerable confusion about EDTV and HDTV. First of all, EDTV stands for Enhanced Definition Television, while HDTV stands for High Definition Television. TVs equipped with either of these formats are capable of receiving and potraying images in a digital fashion - both of which are superior in visual quality to the standard TV (SDTV). Which is better, EDTV, or HDTV? This is a question that comes up quite often, and it really has a simple answer: HDTV is better. However, EDTV wasn t really made to be a competitor for HDTV, but rather a transition technology that was better than standard, but not all the way High Definition, as HDTV is. And although Enhanced Definition Television (EDTV) doesn t quite offer the oustanding life-like quality attributed to High Definition Television (HDTV), its picture is actually closer to HDTV than regular television. HDTV has an impressive 720 progressive scanning (1280x720 pixels) or 1080 interlaced (1920x1090 pixels) lines. Thus, it easily meets the requirement of high definition broadcasts. EDTV, on the other hand, displays pictures at 480 progressive scan (640x480 pixels), which is the the highest resolution available on DVD. In fact, EDTV is considered optimized for the DVD format. However, this puts a severe limit on EDTV, which is simply not able to display higher resolution HD content. Our recommendation is that, when purchasing a new TV, you consider getting one that is \"HD-ready.\" It is likely that all broadcasts will transition over to true HDTV format within the next decade or so. Be advised, however, that you will need to purchase an external set-top box with an ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) tuner in order to receive digital HDTV programming. Many cable and satellite providers, if they provide HDTV content, may offer this tuner for free. One final note, you may want to consider buying a LCD TV, as most are HDTV ready, and do the best job of displaying those beautiful HD images. Printers and Ink Cartridges Guzzle, Guzzle, Guzzle

Why are ink cartridges so expensive? Do you print less and try to save your ink? Is there another alternative other than to purchase ink cartridges brand new? If you answered yes to any of these questions, read on. The last time I had to replace my 4 ink cartridges I felt I was gassing up my car. Guzzle, Guzzle and Guzzle. Why are the ink cartridges so expensive? Do the manufacturers of printers want us to purchase new printers every time we need to refill our ink? Why is it so expensive to replace ink cartridges from our printer? I use my printer probably more than most people. I am always printing my books which vary in length from 30 pages to 150. The ink disappears before my very eyes. I have found an alternative way to purchase ink cartridges, I am using recycled cartridges. In this world s economy which seems to be becoming crazier and crazier and prices seem to be blasting out of sight, we need to be able to have an alternative. I was told that laser printers which are more expensive to purchase - the ink lasts longer but the cartridges are expensive. What do you think about this situation? The Importance of E-Commerce Web Design and CSS

Today’s technology is strengthening at a tremendous speed; the internet has become a vital resource for the majority of the population and counting. More and more people are exponentially learning to use the internet on a daily basis. The internet is a BOOMING industry as you may know. The majority of all users out there are on some type either a desktop or a laptop computer and this has usually been the case. So designing “to fit” was never really a large issue for web developers until recently more and more users are purchasing and services there internet capable handhelds, cell phones, tablets of all shapes and sizes. The most flexible type of layout that can fit across the majority of these platforms is what is called a liquid layout. It’s a mix of html, PHP/ASP or any flavor code but most importantly CSS. CSS, short for Cascading Style Sheets, a new feature being added to HTML that gives both Web design developers and users more control over how pages are displayed. With CSS, designers and users can create style sheets that define how different elements, such as headers and links, appear. These Style Sheets can then be applied to any Web page. This is a dynamic way to centralize the looks or style of any web site. This can also be applied when using different screen size. With your flavor of code added with CSS you can have the server displays the page to auto-detect which type of browser and or machine the viewer is looking at your site on, therefore it can auto-fit to the best perspective and layout, thus actually delivering your site to all users out there no matter what screen size or ratio they are viewing your site on. This a huge factor when developing one’s site and almost always goes overlooked when choosing a developer or firm to create your companies web site. Now, if you do not plan ahead in the development stages you can lose a large percentage of viewers coming to your site. It’s one thing getting your traffic there, and to have a snazzy or flashy web design but allowing 100% of the viewers to actually see your site is a point this is far too often overlooked. Webcast Technology - Its Role In A Lifecycle

Webcast technology refers to the scientific method, material, and equipment that are used for the entire process from the creation of streaming media content up to a user s view of the content. There are four major roles, which are spread over its entire lifecycle and comes into the picture right from the time of content creation. It is then used to prepare the content for distribution and also aids it. Finally, webcast technology is used for consumption of the content by the consumer. The above four roles are discussed in detail in the paragraphs that follow. Content Creation What has to be distributed is known as content. The content has to be created first so that it can be webcast. For this, webcast technology such as audio and video capturing and editing equipment is used. The technology used at this stage includes cameras, microphones, other recording and editing devices and computer software. Content Distribution This is the stage in which webcast technology helps the preparation of content that was created in the earlier stages to make it fit for transmission. The technology used at this stage includes encoders and converters, which compress the content so as to make it suitable for transmission through the distribution system, without choking the bandwidth of the webcast provider or that at the consumers end. Since multimedia files are very large in size, this technology reduces their size through the removal of redundant data, as well as to leave out such details as would not significantly affect the quality of the webcast content in a negative manner. The next stage is where the webcast streaming media server comes into the picture. This is in the form of streaming media, protocols of distribution as well as the technology which makes a connection to the webcast server possible. Thus broadband, dialup, GPRS, EDGE, WiFi, and HSDPA all take up their roles as webcast Internet connection technology and allow the transmission of a webcast to the consumer. You can read more about these at whatisawebcast.com Content Consumption Users, who want to consume the content provided through a webcast, can do this through the use of webcast technology in the form of client software, and sound and video processing subsystems. The user will connect to the provider through the use of any of the technologies used for distribution of content such as broadband Internet or GPRS or any other suitable mode. The client will then request to watch content from the webcast server, which will then be downloaded to the user s device, reprocessed, and presented to the consumer, who will watch it. Analog People in a Digital World: Designers - Can You Hear Us?

Analog People in a Digital World: Designers - Can You Hear Us? With all the time and money spent on designing products that are “user friendly,” why is it that tried and true features that have worked perfectly well for decades are being replaced with ones that don’t? Wing windows in cars (sorry if you’re too young to know what I’m talking about) were great. You could angle those little triangles to direct the flow of air where you wished. Better yet, you knew that if your pooch stuck her nose out that little space, there was absolutely no danger of her falling out. I’m told that the electric window (yes, children â€" we used to have to crank them open and closed) caused the demise of the wing window â€" but I don’t believe it. Surely they don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Lest you think I’m an old fuddy duddy, let me assure you I’m not. I love the latest gadgets â€" if they serve a purpose. And I’m so into computers that I even own (and occasionally wear) a heather gray tee shirt that says “ ” in powder blue. And speaking of computers â€" here is another example of replacing what works with what doesn’t. All my old laptop computers all had a wonderful thumb wheel switch to control the audio intensity (or as they erroneously say, the “volume”). What a concept â€" an analog device to control an analog feature! In no time my thumb learned just how far to turn the switch to achieve the perfect loudness level, and it only took one little motion. In contrast, to adjust sound intensity in my current laptop computer I have to press either an increase loudness button or a decrease loudness button. And pressing these once usually does not do the job, so I press one over and over and over â€" oops â€" too loud; now press the other button once â€"- oops â€" too soft. Well, you get the picture. This obsession with digital is being taken to absurd extremes. It’s now invaded household appliances. We have a new dishwasher. Unlike the old one, it has no dials â€" just buttons you can press either on or off. All you can do with this machine is turn it on, pause it, make it resume, or stop it. It’s supposed to save on energy, yet its shortest cycle (rinse only) is 90 minutes â€" and there is nothing you can do to shorten it! Who needs to rinse dishes for 90 minutes? How can this possibly save energy? I am told that all new dishwashers are like this, and that washing machines and driers are close behind. As they say, it’s time to get real. People are real. Besides, we were here first. Hey all you designers â€" please give us some people-friendly technology before things get even worse. Simulation in Host-target Testing

Let s first start with the meaning of host-target developments. It is A kind of development process in which the environment in which the application is developed and the environment is which it finally executes are completely different. The development environment is called the \"Host\" environment and the execution environment is called \"Target\" environment. Embedded system development comes in to our mind first when we think about it,Right. Well even the same is true for portable device application developments. First and foremost thing is that testing has to be carried out in an environment in which the application is carried out. But is it always possible to carry out the testing in the target ? Obviously no. Because the target environment is not suited to testing at all in most cases. It may not have a debugger, keyboard or even a processor. Again to carry out testing in such environments the accessories required like in circuit emulator are pretty cost effective. Again many programmers trying to test their work in the target may create a bottleneck. Therefore the best idea will be to carry out as much as testing possible in the host side. This is the requirement of \"simulation\". Simulation means creating target environment in the host itself to facilitate testing. The application can not distinguish between actual and simulated target and it makes our work easy. Carrying out maximum testing on the host and followed by short confirmation tests on the target will do the job. The need of confirmation test is to explore areas of difference between the host and target that may create problems latter. They could be difference in word length, data structure ,significance of bits etc. But for all these the first thing is a good software architecture. A good architecture separates interface modules from other modules. This reduces target dependancy from testing. Therefore the architecture should be done after looking into test requirements. Accordingly simulation can be planned. Amount of simulation possible also varies with the coupling between the target and application. Therefore amount of simulation possible and amount of simulation required are two important factors before deciding in favor of simulation. Archery 3D Targets

Hunting with a bow and arrow is far more challenging than with a firearm. A bow hunter needs greater skill, as they must get much closer to the targets than hunters with guns. For this reason, among many others, archery 3D targets are a great way to get practice for new hunters or those looking to become more skilled. Because archery 3D targets come in a variety of shapes, they can also be used by experienced hunters that are thinking of hunting new animals. Many archery 3D targets are shaped to resemble animals traditionally hunted using a bow and arrow: deer, moose, bear, wild boar, even mountain lions. These animal shaped targets are especially useful because they train the archer how to hit their target accurately and in the zones most likely to achieve the kill. Because archers must get so close to kill, they often only have one shot at the animal. Becoming proficient in hitting 3D targets in the appropriate spots will increase a hunter s likelihood of successfully killing an animal when hunting. Most 3D archery targets are made with foam that allows the arrow to penetrate the target. Many more expensive brands will layer the foam, making it harder for the arrow to penetrate the target. This layering effect gives greater accuracy to the archer, because it more realistically simulates the force needed to penetrate fur, skin, and flesh. The layered nature of the foam also reduces the amount of friction created at impact, which causes less damage to the 3D target. However, when the target is used frequently, it will still become damaged. Because of this, many brands offer replaceable core parts. Some archery 3D targets even have a cutaway effect. This reveals the layers underneath the skin, making the archer capable of targeting very specific kill zones on the animal. Perfecting hitting these spots on a target will increase an archer s chances of hitting the most sensitive areas on an animal. If you have a safe place to practice at, archery 3D targets are available for sell at most outdoor and sporting goods stores. However, if you re not interested in owning your own target, there are archery ranges that allow you to practice on their 3D targets. Many of these ranges have hunting recreations that will simulate actual hunting by placing the 3D targets behind trees, on trails, and in other locations typically inhabited by the animals. Archery 3D targets are a perfect way for both novice and experienced bow hunters to perfect their sport. By offering a simulated target, they can vastly increase a hunter s chances of success. This must be taken as a serious study as any mistake in selection or its effective implementation can prove disastrous to the organizational objectives and prospects. The ERP software must be installed by an ERP vendor or third-party consulting organization, which are expert service providers when it comes to providing Consulting, customization and support. 720p Vs 1080i HDTV

Is 720p vs 1080i worth being concerned about? Yes and no. If you re a consumer looking for a new TV, you can happily ignore the 720p vs 1080i debate because every TV which is described as HDTV or HDTV Ready is required to support both formats. NOTE: You should be aware though that lots of TVs which support 1080i have fewer than 1080 lines and so scale the 1080 signal down. That s not a huge issue as even scaled down 1080i is far ahead of a regular NTSC signal. It is worth bearing in mind that more expensive HDTVs tend to have better scalers than cheaper ones, and this may be an issue. However, for broadcasters it s a live issue. Should they broadcast 1080 lines of interlaced video or 720 lines of progressive scan? They could just broadcast two signals, one in each format, but that would use up a huge chunk of bandwidth and be hugely expensive for very little gain. To answer the question, it s important to understand the difference between 720p vs 1080i. A 720p signal is made up of 720 horizontal lines. Each frame is displayed in its entirety on-screen for 1/30th of a second. This is know as progressive scan (hence the p )The quality is like watching 30 photographic images a second on TV. A 1080i signal comprises 1080 horizontal lines but all the lines are not displayed on-screen simultaneously. Instead, they are interlaced (hence the i ), ie every other lines is displayed for 1/60th of a second and then the alternate lines are displayed for 1/60th of a second. So, the frame rate is still 30 frames per second, but each frame is split into two fields, which your brain then puts together subconsciously. Most of the time interlacing works fine, but for fast moving images, such as sports like baseball and hockey it can cause problems which manifest themselves as a stepping effect on-screen. Progressive scan signals don t have this problem and so are better suited to sports. ESPN puts it like this: Progressive scan technology produces better images for the fast moving orientation of sports television. Simply put, with 104 mph fastballs in baseball and 120 mph shots on goal in hockey, the line-by-line basis of progressive scan technology better captures the inherent fast action of sports. For ESPN, progressive scan technology makes perfect sense. Bottom line? For us, as consumers 720p vs 1080i is not a debate worth worrying about, so you can relax and focus on all the other criteria on your list when you buy your next HDTV. Cement Mixers – A Guide

A cement mixer â€" the more appropriate name is a concrete mixer â€" performs the function of mixing cement, water and either gravel or sand to make concrete. A revolving drum is used in the cement mixer to properly mix these components, A portable cement mixer gives the needed time for the construction workers to use it, before it becomes hard. To build a foundation for a home, shed or garage or repair a building or a sidewalk, the right kind of cement mixer should be used to ensure the job is executed properly. The mobile concrete dispenser or mobile cement mixer is used for batching concrete into several areas such as sidewalks. The amount of concrete can be properly controlled by using the mobile cement mixer. Extra water is not needed to mix cement in mobile cement mixers. The stationary or immobile cement mixer or concrete dispenser as the name implies, is fixed in a central location while the concrete is manufactured. It is used mostly in pre-casting for building projects in remote locations where a large project is to be executed. The increasing demand for ready-mix concrete with short mixing times meant for industrial production, resulted in new technologies in concrete production. Using cement mixers, batch mixing with twin-shafts with only thirty- seconds of mixing time per batch are possible now. Delivery of ready-mix concrete from the factory or plant to the construction yard is made by a cement mixer, which is part of special transport trucks with a spiral blade fitted to overcome the tipping of large drums attached to the concrete truck. Continuous rotating cement mixers completely mix the concrete, and using its own hydraulic link cylinder empties the concrete without leaving any residue in the drum. Portable cement mixers have wheels and are provided with a towing tongue, which a motor vehicle can pull around. The electric power for the rotation of the cement mixer can be supplied by the mains. A lever in the portable cement mixer enables the concrete to be tipped into a wheelbarrow. It is not financially a good idea to buy a new concrete mixer for a small project, it is much simpler and of course cheaper to hire one from any leasing company. How To Cure Vampirism In Oblivion

The easiest way to cure vampirism is once you have contracted Hemophilla (Vampire disease) go to a local church and pray at the alter for a cure (seriously). If you have been sick for more than 3 game days you will be a vampire. There are a few pros to being a vampire. One of the best benefits is a great strength, also you have add bonuses and spells. The biggest draw back is the sun begins to harm you and it forces you to walk at night. Another draw back is people and merchants will refuse you service in your vampire form. The way to lessen the effects is to feed on sleeping NPCs. The best place to find sleeping NPCs is at the stables of any town. There is usually a farm hand asleep on the outside of the stable. Make sure you access that area after 11 pm. Now that you know how to contract, treat, and live with the disease lets talk about the cure. Once you are a vampire you need to go to the church and talk with someone at the alter. They will send you on a whirlwind tour across the country talking to different people. You will end up at a old woman s house named Draklowe. She will make you a potion, but first she will need a few ingredients. First, she will need 5 Grand Soul Gems. This part of your journey will take you the longest but, with the help of this guide I can save you a few hours. The Five places I have found Grand Soul Gems: 1)Dungeon of Miscarcand (to the west of Skingard) 2)Squardered Mine (next to Draklowe) 3)Imperial Market (Not sure which Vendor) 4)Leyawjjn (Mages Guild) 5)Bravil (Mages Guild) Once you have the 5 Grand Soul Gems take them to Darklowe and she will give you the next part of the quest. You will need 6 cloves of Garlic, 5 Nightshade leaves and 2 Shoots of BloodGrass. You will also, need the blood of a Argonian and Vampire ashes form a Vampire named Hindaril. All of the ingredients can be found at various mage guilds and markets. The blood of a Argonian is pretty easy (there are the lizard people). There is a bum Argonian wandering around the city of Leyawjjn poke him with the dagger and you good to go. The last piece of the cure is you need to kill a powerful vampire. Darklowe will give you the exact locaction of Hindaril. Once you kill him she will give you the potion and a extra potion for a friend . I hope this guide helps you in your quest. Military Discount Airfare

In most countries, active-duty military members enjoy discounted airfares. Not only the state-run airlines, but also even most commercial airlines, offer these discounts. This is one way of expressing the gratitude towards those who are serving the nation. For current military personnel, the US General Administration also runs the City Pair program, under which the officials travel on discounted airfares as they travel for official work. Many commercial airlines offer military personnel special discounts on airfares even if they are making personal trips. Some offer this discount to family members, too. Generally, most of the airlines offering military discounts have a standard rate of discount which is applicable on all routes. They also offer such discounts on international airfares. The rate of discount is likely to be more on domestic than international airfares. While most of the commercial airlines offer discounts on airfare to serving military personnel, some of them also offer the same to retired military personnel. For both categories, some specified documents have to be provided to prove one’s military status. Once the documents are verified, they can even book their discounted tickets online. On domestic routes some of the airliners offer up to 70 percent discounts to military personnel. There are online and offline resources which provide information about prevailing discounts on airfares for military personnel. The discounts offered to military personnel are generally not withdrawn during peak season or even on busy routes. But it is always better to check first, rather than be disappointed later at the ticket counter. If you are in the military, you can contact the local official information center which generally keeps track of discounted on both domestic as well as international routes. Several airliners advertise about these discounts, also. Discount Airfare provides detailed information on Discount Airfare, Student Discount Airfare, Discount International Airfare, Military Discount Airfare and more.
